PERFORMANCE AND CONCERT ATTIRE

A performance dress code is now being integrated into both band and chorus requirements due to the inconsistency of professional dress within our student body.  There is a protocol for athletic attire and we are enforcing an apparel protocol for musical events.  We are professional performance groups and as such we need to look like professional performance groups.

Each student will be assigned a choir robe, provided by the school.  This robe will be the student's to wear at each performance throughout the school year.  It is the student's responsibility to make sure his or her robe is hung up neatly and in correct numerical order after every performance.

In addition to the school robe, students are responsible for providing the following attire for each performance:

Women - Tan nylons and black dress shoes are required for each performance.

Women may wear shorts and t-shirt underneath the robe as they will not be seen.

Men - Black dress pants (absolutely no jeans), black socks, and black dress

shoes will be required for each performance.  Men may wear a t-shirt underneath

robe, unless participating in the band.

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in an automatic 20 point deduction from the concert portion of the student's grade.
